China-Britain Business Council in China Visited

In the afternoon of March 8, President Jeff Astle, Director of China’s Outbound Investment Ma Weifeng, Director of South China Region Zhang Feng, Program Officer Zhang Zheng and others of China-Britain Business Council in China visited the Alliance. China-Britain Business Council is an economic and trade promotion organization to China, jointly supported by the British government and the business community. It was established in 1953 and its predecessor was “48 Group”. In 1998, its name was changed to the present one, and its main task is to promote bilateral trade and economic and technological cooperation between China and Britain. China-Britain Council met and held a talk with Vice President and Secretary General Miss Sun Tianlu and Foreign Affairs Manager Miss Mai Jia of the Alliance during this visit. Jeff Astle, President of China-Britain Business Council in China, gave a general introduction of the Council and expressed the willingness to carry out further intensive cooperation with the Alliance.
