On the afternoon of April 10, 2017, Canadian Information and Communication Technology Exchange, sponsored by the Department for International Trade of Ontario, Canada and the Department of Economic Development and Trade of Alberta, Canada, co-sponsored by the Alliance, the Canadian Consulate General in Guangzhou and the Canadian Trade Representative Office in Shenzhen, and undertaken by the Statistical Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of Shenzhen (“The Society”), was held successfully in the Point-Line Space Profession Service Exchange in the Grand China International Financial Center, Futian District, Shenzhen.

At the conference, Mr. Duane Robson, the Commercial Consul of the Canadian Consulate General in Guangzhou, firstly delivered his welcoming speech; and then, Miss Sun Tianlu, the Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General of the Alliance, delivered her speech, welcoming the Canadian high-tech enterprises to this conference. She hoped this would be a good opportunity for the enterprises from Canada and China to establish relationship and cooperation.

At the conference, the eleven high-tech projects of the Canadian delegation were introduced separately, covering intelligent equipment, communication technology, software management, cloud computing, and big data and other high-tech fields. The high-tech projects of all enterprises attracted the participants' eyeballs quite a lot.

The long-standing, broad and profound bilateral relations between Canada and China have long been formed by the common interests, deep civil contacts and kinship ties. There are 11 Canadian high-tech companies invited to participate in this exchange. In terms of their respective professional fields, covering large data analysis, network security, wireless communications, cloud services and other leading global technology and experience, they are very good representatives of the vigorous Canadian high-tech enterprises.
