On December 14, Sun Tianlu, Executive Chairman of Shenzhen Outbound Alliance (SOA), Zhai Haibin and Zhou Gang, both Deputy Secretary-Generals, and Mai Jia, Senior Manager of International Affairs Department, were invited by State of Bavaria China Office to attend the farewell party of Huang Ming, former Chief Representative of State of Bavaria China Office, and congratulated the new Chief Representative, Dr. Lucie Merkle, on her inauguration.

State of Bavaria-China Office is part of Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology (STMWI), and also its official representative agency. At present, STMWI has already set up three offices respectively in Shandong, Guangdong and Sichuan, China. Its main functions are to maintain good relations between Bavaria and all the provinces and cities in China, in particular friendly state relations with Shandong Province and Guangdong Province, as well as friendly and cooperative relations with Sichuan Province so as to serve Chinese enterprises planning to invest in Bavaria, Germany, and facilitate Bavarian enterprises to explore markets in China.

On May 26, 2017, Huang Ming, Representative of State of Bavaria-China Office then, signed a contract with Sun Tianlu, Executive Chairman of SOA

SOA and State of Bavaria China Office are in a friendly partnership. Since 2016, the two parties have cooperated on a number of occasions and signed a contract at Shenzhen International Production Capacity Cooperation Conference 2017 held on May 26, 2017.

Since its establishment, SOA has established long-term relationships with foreign embassies and consulates in China, business representative offices and investment promotion bureaus, international professional bodies, international business associations, and well-known foreign enterprises in more than 130 Countries and Regions, which facilitate the overseas expansion of the enterprises involved.
