In order to help Shenzhen enterprises understand the key points of overseas risk prevention in a timely manner, do a good job in the production and operation safety of overseas projects and personnel safety and so on, and successfully complete the 2017 annual report on foreign investment statistics, Training Conference of Shenzhen Enterprises’ “Outbound” Risk Prevention & Annual Report on Foreign investment Statistics organized by Economy, Trade and Information Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and Statistical Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of Shenzhen and co-organized by the Alliance was held in the afternoon of April 25 in the Multi-function Hall of Shenzhen Civic Center. 

The representatives were invited from State Administration of Foreign Exchange Shenzhen Bureau, Shenzhen National Security Bureau, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, Ping An Insurance, Transsion Holdings, VCEP, the Alliance and the Society and they introduced relevant information, and attendants also included over 500 representatives from such enterprises as Huawei, BYD, Hytera, Shenzhen Energy, Skyworth, NINEFOLD Construction Group, and OCT Group.

At the beginning, Mr. Gao Lin, Deputy Director of Economy, Trade and Information Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, introduced the development of Shenzhen’s foreign investment business. And then, Mr. Du Wei from Capital Project Management Division of State Administration of Foreign Exchange Shenzhen Bureau introduced the registration of overseas direct investment stock and rights in 2017, Mr. Chen Leshan, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs-Related Security Division of Shenzhen National Security Bureau, introduced the guidelines for safety risk prevention of overseas personnel and organizations, Mr. Liu Xiaofeng, Research Division III, Country Risk Research Center, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, introduced the risk characteristics of ASEAN countries and analysis of key country risks, and Mr. Yuan Hui, Underwriting Manager of High-end Liability Insurance Division, Ping An Insurance, Mr. Song Yingnan, Deputy Director of Platform Management Department of Shenzhen Transsion Holdings and Miss Li Meng, Deputy Head of Investment Promotion Department of VCEP respectively introduced and shared information about the management and transfer of the safety risks of outbound personnel, the foreign investment experience of Transsion Holdings, and China-Vietnam (Shenzhen-Haiphong) Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone.

At the time when the work of 2017 annual report of foreign investment statistics is going to start, Mr. Liang Qiurong, Senior Manager of Policy Research Department of the Society also explained the "Overseas Direct Investment Statistics System" for enterprises and gave practical guidance in the training conference. Later, Miss Sun Tianlu, Chairwoman of the Society and Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General of the Alliance, made a detailed speech on the Alliance. At last, Miss He Zhimei, Director of Foreign Cooperation Division of Economy, Trade and Information Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, made a summary on the work arrangement of 2017 annual report of foreign investment statistics and risk prevention in production safety of overseas investment.

Representatives were very active in the interaction after the training conference and put forward various questions about the risk prevention of overseas investment and the work of 2017 annual report on foreign investment; and the guests answered all the questions one by one. The success of the training conference is of practical significance for enterprises to open up the international, prevent the risk of foreign investment and understand the latest foreign investment policies.
