In the morning of Sep 19, the Business and Commercial Promotion of Ruhr, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany was successfully held at Point-line Space Professional Services Exchange Center, Futian District, Shenzhen. The activity was jointly hosted by NRW.INVEST China/Guangzhou and Business Metropole Ruhr, organized by Shenzhen Outbound Alliance (SOA) and Roadlink GLB, supported by Statistical Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of Shenzhen(SSFET) and Point-line Space Professional Services Exchange Center.

The activity aims at boosting communication and cooperation with Ruhr and NRW. Rasmus Beck, Head of the Business Metropole Ruhr, Dr. Schroeder, Partner of CMS law firm , Jie Liang, Head of NRW.INVEST China/Guangzhou, Kevin Zhou, Deputy Secretary-General, Fan Zhang, General Manager of Shenzhen Keanda Electronic Technology Corp.,Ltd, Weiyu Zhan, General Manager of Niuda Electronic Technology Corp., Ltd., Shaw Yang, Manager of International Affairs and Investment Department and representatives from over 50 enterprises joined the conference.

Kevin Zhou, Deputy Secretary-General of SOA, was giving a speech

Kevin Zhou, Deputy Secretary of SOA, started with a speech. He said that as the economy is developing very fast, the local market, technology, resource can’t meet the need of enterprises. In order to compete in the international market, we need to stick to the ‘Going Out’ strategy and broaden our horizon and market, so that we can gain sustainable and stable growth.

 Jie Liang, Head of NRW.INVEST China/Guangzhou, was making a speech

Jie Liang, Head of NRW.INVEST China/Guangzhou introduced the participants to NRW in terms of well known brands and enterprises, business center of Germany, ideal for investment and service. He mentioned that, NRW located in the center of Europe, the economy is highly developed, it’s one of the homeland to the world most advanced enterprises, world top R&D center and talent training center of Europe.

Rasmus Beck, Head of the Business Metropole Ruhr, introduce Metropole Ruhr interms of transformation and upgrade. He said that Ruhr has the most population of Chinese, and Ruhr has cultivated 4 Fortune Global 500 enterprises, they are RWE, E.ON, 0Vonovia and Thyssenkrupp, and 8 enterprises who are on DAX. And many local SEMS and start-ups are pioneers in innovation and digitization. For investors and enterprises, Ruhr is potential in market and human resource.

Practicing lawyer, Partner of CMS law firm, Dr. Schroeder, introduced CMS law firm and law structure for investing in Germany. He illustrated the process to set up a company in Germany and law during investment.
