On January 9, 2018 (Beijing time), CES (Consumer Electronics Show), the world's largest consumer electronics show was opened. About 4,500 companies have made their appearance in Las Vegas, USA, presenting the latest, hottest consumer electronics products and trends. We were invited to attend the opening ceremony accompanying with Gao Yuyue, Deputy Secretary General of the Shenzhen municipal government, and his party.

In 2018, the number of Chinese enterprises exhibitors continued to rise. According to the data of the host Consumer Technology Association (CTA), about 10% of the participating companies (482) have the written character of "Shenzhen" in their names, followed by “Dongguan” who has 78, and then “Beijing”, 44.   Some foreign media jokingly said: Chinese companies are occupying CES, and CES in 2018 has become a “China Consumer Electronics Show”.
