The Second Congress of First Membership Assembly was held by the Alliance successfully in JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen at noon of December 16, 2016.

Zhou Xiaohong , an investigator from Foreign Cooperation Division of Economic, Trade and Information Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, Liu Deqiang, the Vice Consul General of Royal Thai Consulate-General, Guangzhou, Lin Songbao, the Director of Guangzhou Office of BOI, Sun Tianlu, the Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General of the Alliance, some vice-president members of the Alliance, such as BGI, Shenzhen Energy and Shenzhen Investment Holdings, some council members of the Alliance, such as Holpe and Ernst & Young, some overseas business institutions, such as State of Bavaria China Office, InvestHK, HKTDC and CBBC, and other more than 100 members attended the congress. 

 Zhou Xiaohong , an investigator from Foreign Cooperation Division of Economic, Trade and Information Commission of Shenzhen Municipality made a speech and affirmed the work of the Alliance this year, who said the Alliance was established in a short time, but all work had achieved initial success, and the information sharing platform, financial service platform, talent training platform, risk prevention platform and other work were being carried out orderly. She hoped that the Alliance could make persistent efforts to know more enterprises' demands for going out, and to organize the professional institutes and the typical enterprises which had gone out to share the successful experience of "going out" and the investment information in the related regions, to strengthen the experience exchanges among the enterprises, and to strengthen the service for "going out" constantly, in order to contribute to Shenzhen for going out.

Subsequently, Lin Songbao, Director of Guangzhou Office of BOI, also congratulated on the congress of the Alliance, who said that Thailand was an important node on "The Belt and Road” and was always important in the foreign economic and trade relations with Shenzhen. In recent years, with the attention and support of the leaders of both countries, the exchanges and cooperation between Shenzhen and Thailand in the fields of trade, investment, culture, education and international friendship cities have been expanded through the joint efforts of the two countries. He hoped that the Alliance could continue to deepen and strengthen the mutual benefit and collaboration between Shenzhen’s enterprises and Thai enterprises.

Sun Tianlu, Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General of the Alliance, reported to the attendees the works done by the Alliance in 2016 and the work plan for 2017; her report has been recognized by all members and guests. At the conference, after discussion, the work report of the Alliance 2016 has been approved; Shenzhen Huada Gene Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. were selected as vice-president units of the Alliance; Shenzhen Branch of CMBC and Shenzhen Branch of Ernst & Young (China) Advisory Limited were selected as council members of the Alliance; Li Jianlu was selected as Deputy Secretary General of the Alliance.

At the end of the conference, Xu Qian, Legal Director of Shenzhen Huada Gene Co., Ltd. (new vice-president unit), made a speech as a member. Then, the Second Congress of First Membership Assembly came to a successful conclusion. In the free exchange session after the conference, the guests had highly appreciated the works done by the Alliance this year and expected the future development; they believe that in the future, under the continuous concern and support of various governmental departments, oversea agencies, personages of all circles and members of the Alliance, the Alliance will further forge ahead, make innovations and strive to create the new page of “Outbound” work.
